As you made a Herman's Hermits reference, you might like to know that Peter Noone and his current Hermits tour constantly. We've seen them 5 times in our great local venue; he is an incredible showman. He's fun, funny and he still sings the hell out of the songs. I took this in Nov. '24.

In '98 I was a greeter at a Bennigans in Ft Lauderdale and one day Peter Noone showed up to meet with a large group of people for dinner. I said to my coworkers "Hey, look... it's the 'Into Something Good' guy" and got blank expressions back.

It was on constantly in my early years on my parents' space age 1970 stereo system, along with the Pozo-Seco Singers and Herb Alpert (they weren't the hippest). I think No Milk Today is my favorite.

He talked to my friend Rich Kimball on Rich's radio show here in Eastern Maine a few years ago. It was such a great conversation & he seems like such a good dude. I quickly went to a local used record store and found 2 HH albums and scooped them up. I'm gonna go relisten to that interview now.
