Have fun, and don't worry about googling things you don't understand yet. Sanderson likes to make his novels feel lived in my delivering explanations and justifications organically and often many many pages after you first encounter the idea. You didn't miss the exposition!

Can someone please tell me if it's ok to read the stormlight novels without other cosmere novels? I have read the first two, absolutely loved them, but couldn't even get past 100 pages of mistborn, I want the 'complete' experience but idk how to get through mistborn 🥲

You can, and if you really like Stormlight you’ll feel motivated to read the rest, even if you don’t like them as much.

Fwiw I read the first three SLA books and then read Mistborn 1 and I like SLA significantly more.

To read the whole of Cosmere is a daunting (but rewarding) journey. Stormlight is great on it's own, even if you are going to miss some of the Cosmere relations. I've read it 3-4 times, and still find new Cosmere stuff every time!

I came to it blind on the premise: "what if the bad guy won?" - I like them, but they aren't my fave Brandon Sanderson books. I lke Era two, with Wax and wayne more. Still good though! And propably something you "need" to read to understand who and what Harmony is.

oh, you said 100 pages. I'd encourage you to try again. Once the gang is together it becomes a cool fantasy heist movie, and I really like it when Vin meets Elend. (I forget when excactly that is. Maybe its time for me to reread it, after Stormlight 5!!)
