Manufacturing jobs have been in a long term decline while output peaked in 2007 and has been a bit lower but flat ever since. I read this as automation reducing headcount. So, it wouldn’t be surprising to see high output with declining headcount.

This situation is exactly the thought seed that led to me considering UBI as a feasible way of living.
If corporations basically make having humans useless, it's probably best for them to pay a tax so that people can still live, especially if there is such little work for the common individual
Taxes don't fund government projects. They create artificial demand for its currency. We need to destroy the currency oligopoly that governments hold. Doing so would allow us to build our own UBI systems.
Did you see there was a recent report that basically everyone working for $NVDA is rich? If I remember correctly, a median net worth of $25M. An extreme case of where we’re headed.
