Alison was an “early adopter” of play streets and has become a huge part of the movement. Not only supporting hundreds of sessions but focussing her research on the topic of children/streets/play/community. Look up her work!

It’s 9 years today since we got the traffic order for the first #playstreet on my street, and my activist and academic ‘play on streets’ journey began. I’ve learnt so much, met so many fabulous people (on my street and beyond), and had a lot of fun.
