I also thought it would be cool for a one time event that had a 1% of 1% chance for your character to refuse your input and say “nah, I don’t feel like doing that”. Just to mess with the player.
I've always thought that more (or any) JRPGs should have a mechanic where the overflow damage you do to enemies gets converted into extra EXP or something like that
I remember Ye Olde Dayes when sometimes JRPGs would overflow so hard the damage display would turn into nonsense. Good times. I love the idea of this returning XD

This is in the game where you can do 400 quadrillion damage in a single shot. Can is not used lightly, i CANNOT pull that off.
Your crits can crit. Your crits that crit can then also crit. And those crits? You guessed it, they can crit too.
