My frustration is that the things Labour is getting pulled up for (rightly, don't get me wrong) appear quite trivial compared to what the Conservatives did for years
Doesn't make it right, or that you shouldn't investigate, it's more the way the Mail etc jump all over it after letting it go before

I agree with this. I wanted better from Labour even if they have a long way to go to be as bad as the Tories. So far no friends of Russia or Bunga bunga parties.

Exactly, so it's disappointing but can we avoid the "it's just as bad" narrative, especially from those on the left, as those in the middle will see both sides saying something's bad, while only the left say the right is bad, giving the impression the right is less bad despite the reverse being true
