Many people don’t realize that having a monopoly isn’t inherently illegal. If you outcompete rivals fairly, you’ve done nothing wrong. What’s illegal is monopolization which is using anti-competitive tactics like price fixing, exclusive deals, or tying arrangements to acquire or maintain a monopoly.
