Open toe shoes is another thing I can’t fathom. My toes would freeze off! On top of that, if the trip is through a country that makes you take your shoes off and people have to go barefoot through security, I can’t help but feel abhorrent cringe each time I witness that.

I fly in jeans, but then again, as a dude, it's that sweat pants/athletic shorts, khakis, or business attire, so jeans are my best, most versatile option. I wish cargo pants would come back......
