To excel requires 'unfair' physical advantages like height / weight, or producing only half the lactic acid of other athletes, or 'unfair' socioeconomic advantages like wealthy and committed caregivers. 1/

I live in Ireland and can confirm that the Irish rugby team is a prime example, as the core of the squad all went to the same four or five fee-paying schools in South Dublin where rugby is part of the curriculum. It’s been this way for over a hundred years!

Or other sports such as horse racing/F1 vs rugby and weightlifting. Being small bringing the physical advantage vs being big. It's "inherently" unfair as it were but y'know, that's the way it is. Like slender tall people making better general clothing models etc. Gender has fuck all to do with it.
