Manager: "What's this milestone 'Living on a prayer' ?" Me: "That's the documentation deliverable." Manager: "What's the status of that?" Me: "We're halfway there" Manager: "Why is progress so slow?" Me: "You fired Tommy" Manager: "So?" Me: "Tommy used to work on the docs"

If your Monday isn't going well perhaps you need a dog burrito

Happy #twinpeaksday to all that celebrate

My beloved, an English and, has just used the word malky therefore I have to watch Taysiders in Space, it's the law. #StarTrek #treksky #Scots #chewinthefat youtu.be/KoBk8bxU1rs?...

Witch Hazel still pumping out citrus and sweet scents. For 3 to 4 weeks a year it's the best thing in the garden.

Takes the champagne out of the fridge 😒 #engvsco

I'm watching the rugby. Elsie would appear not to be a fan. Alt. Looking out through the patio doors to a German shepherd sitting on the grass at the edge of the patio with a selection of throwing toys, waiting hopefully.

Worth repeating. For those filling out a map correction form on Google, they could care less. If you want to make a difference, change your search engine on your phone or iPad/desktop to duck duck go or yahoo. THAT cuts their page hits and directly hurts their pocket book.

Ordinarily I would say my perfect house would be a double bay fronted Victorian villa, but this is seriously in contention were I to win on the lottery. www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/1...

Good Morning Super set of Art Nouveau tiles to begin our day

Oooooo, first episode of Stargate SG1 on Pick tv in the UK. Yes, I've seen all the episodes multiple times, but it's Stargate and I'm a fan so time to watch them all again Stargate Atlantis is on at 6 now, half way through the first series.

Saw this video, thought it was a nice way to start the day

Three years ago today at 11:17 I snuck off to Wawa after filing a story, got a coffee, and sat down on the Rodin Museum steps to listen to music and enjoy an unseasonably warm February day. A dog rounded the corner, saw me, made a beeline to say hi, and jumped in my lap. It was Bruce.

Popped in to M&S for loose leaf tea and came away with a polo neck jumper, on offer, plus colleague discount, plus sparks offer, £12.50 and while the Scot in me is chuffed, the knitter in me is appalled. I'm about to spend more on the circular needles I need for my next project let alone yarn & time

Sunday chilling.

Ooooo, been blocked by a second account since I joined Bluesky. Go me!

Back from the litter pick along the riverside parkway area. As I'm more agile than most of the volunteers it fell to me to crash through the undergrowth to yeet plastic bottles, cans and other crud out to the people on the path. The Wombles of my childhood did not prepare me for so much mud.
