Have faith - it looks like a sloppy mess and you think that is NEVER going to work.

I have never been brave enough to try baking a loaf but your comments suggest you have an easy recipe? Might you share a link to it if so, please? This absolute beginner might give it a go.

My adapted recipe
510g Bread flour
1 1/2tsp salt
2 1/4 cups or 530mls water room temp in summer is fine.
3.5g or approx 1/2 the silver square packet of instant yeast.
Put flour in large glass or ceramic bowl put in salt wisk together. Then sprinkle yeast over and then Pour in water mix together incorporate all the water it will be a bit sloppy.
Leave on bench for 8-10hrs in Summer up to 12hrs in winter.
Remove cover - sprinkle flour 2tblspooons flour over top.
Scrape down sides to make ball turn out onto flour surface GENTLY stretch 1-2 times shape into ball.
Put baking dish Dutch Oven lid on into oven Turn oven on to 240C to get hot.
When 1hr prove over.
Take out Dutch oven take lid off using baking paper transfer dough to Hot dish
Slash and spray with water.
Put lid on
With small tray of water in bottom of oven.
Bake lid on 35-40mins
Take lid off and pull out baking paper turn over and bake lid OFF for 5-10mins
Until golden on bottom.
Turn out onto rack to cool for 3hrs before cutting
