Last weekend of Summer make most of Salad season Green Goddess salad made With 1 tweak I used chopped up bags of coleslaw mix. This is vegetarian. I make this vegan often I just replace cheese with same amount of cashews, its delicious so it ends up 1/2 cup of cashews for vegan version.

3 weather apps 1 says cloudy 24C 1 says sunny 27C 1 says cloudy 22.5C Outside my window it is Full cloud cover and Raining. Temp would be a guess 22C So I'm really questioning the accuracy of ANY of these supposedly sophisticated weather apps. But I do live in Melbourne so....

Argh, I actually forgot it was V Day I have always been cynical about it. My parents wedding anniversary,you guessed it Divorced. Working in restaurants 10yrs multiple occasions, served "mistress" or girlfriend at lunch, then wife at.dinner sitting. I know right? 🤮 and they say romance is dead.

Well the Beef is IN the slow cooker. 1.8kg it was labelled as top roast, NOT blade or brisket. So I guess in 5-6hrs we shall see. Simple salt and SEAR in hot pan. I have put in 2 onion cut into quarters and some vegetable stock because that's what I had on hand and any extra flavour is good right?

Day time temperature is what leads the news - but it's the NOT cooling down overnight that Kills me. Spectacular thunderstorms overnight brought destruction but NOT the cool change. Take care everyone as we zombie/deadwalk through today & no relief o'night. Cool change due Tuesday Late afternoon
