I assume as Labour meekly accepted the 52:48 result of the advisory vote as a ‘clear mandate’ to issue A50, as articulated by TM, instead of immediately resigning on mass and walking out of the House they have agreed to carry that burden of shame into the next century as some form of weird penance!

It's absolutely wild to me that no major party is even floating the idea of rejoining the EU. It's like the topic is completely taboo. It's been almost a decade, passed by a razor thin margin and the costs and harms are well documented.
