Way to go, Sheryl!!

Before the Prime Minister heads to Washington he must wake up to the fact that the UK's real allies may now lie elsewhere, argues UK diplomat Alexandra Hall Hall

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

This hits hard.

she is right

And I am an ally. If you are too, let the world know.

This can’t to repeated enough. President Zelenskyy is the democratically elected leader of a sovereign country who is bravely standing against the illegal invasion of Ukraine by a murderous ACTUAL dictator called Vladimir Putin

Upon this response, JK burst into a million shards and a great wind scattered her unhappy soul beneath the arc of a newly formed rainbow.

Congrats to @bsky.app and all the users and team that make it unique ! 32m users is real !

I'm dumb. I can't figure out how to end world hunger. But I do promise that I will continue to change healthcare in this country and make it more affordable, possibly setting a path towards Universal Healthcare.

🔴 ‘F**k Trump’: Kyiv Faces the Darkest Hour @chrisyork.bsky.social explores the mood in the capital as Ukrainians try to make sense of the US President’s support for the Kremlin bylinetimes.com/2025/02/22/f...

Listen up.

He nails it.

We live in an era of post-truth. Britain and Europe must stand up against the emerging tyranny in America and defend the right of Ukraine to sovereignty and self-determination.

In 1994, under pressure from US, Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in exchange for assurances from United States, Russia, and UK to respect Ukrainian independence and sovereignty in the existing borders. Eventually Russia invaded Ukraine. Imagine if Ukraine had kept its nukes-

Global crisis style note: What Trump is doing to Ukraine is not 'blackmail', which would be demand for payment under threat of exposure of compromising information*. This is demand for payment under threat of violence/refusal to protect from violence. The word is 'extortion'.

The rate of descent into lawlessness in the United States continues to accelerate. Until that descent is arrested, and we can assess what institutions still hold, the country and its citizens are fundmantally unsafe.

“If Musk succeeds, and move fast and break thingsbecomes the principal gospel of US public institutions, cataclysm will follow”. @brianklaas open.substack.com/pub/briankla...

Despite claiming to love his country, Nigel Farage’s silence on Trump, Putin and Ukraine shows where his loyalties really lie www.adambienkov.co.uk/p/agent-farage

Absolutely. Fearless and independent investigative journalism is needed now more than ever! Subscribe to subscribe.bylinetimes.com Also follow on on BlueSky @bylinetimes.bsky.social

On this week's Coffee Klatch, we discuss Trump's latest power grabs, the backlash to DOGE's mass firings, and how Democrats should give voice to the public's anger. Plus, former CFPB Director Rohit Chopra joins us to discuss DOGE's attack on the Bureau.

As Trump and Musk act like Roman emperors, their reckless actions could soon bring America crashing down. It's time for Europe to step up. My weekly bit for @bylinetimes.bsky.social www.bylinesupplement.com/p/russell-jo...

Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. (1/2)

What's the difference between firing someone "for DEI" and firing them because they are Black?

Putin “loved Brexit, cheers on the far right in Europe and backed Trump because he wants to see the crumbling of the western bloc that has stood firm against him. For a US president to follow that script….is a huge win for the Kremlin” Trump-the traitorous patsy. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Trump is doing things that are unpopular and hurt Americans because he knows there won’t be any more elections. He believes he is untouchable.

The UK's anti-protest laws pre-legitimise far right authoritarianism. Labour must repeal them now. My column today. www.theguardian.com/global/comme...

"In Norway, Tesla saw a 38% sales slump, in France sales dropped by 63%, and in Spain by 75%. Tesla sales dropped 13% across the whole European Union last year and are expected to fall further... Tesla registered only 1,277 new cars in Germany in January, a year-on-year drop of 59.5%."

So, Farage struts around on stage in the US, slagging off the UK and the EU, blaming anything but Brexit for us being poorer and unhappier and crawling up Trump’s backside… What a repulsive spectacle he is. If you actually could be put in prison here for ‘saying anything’ he’d be my top pick.

How can Brexit Britain navigate Trump's World? New post on my Brexit & Beyond Blog. With the rapid deepening of a dangerous global divide, the UK faces hard choices. Could the latest proposals for UK-EU 'mutual recognition' be part of the answer? chrisgreybrexitblog.blogspot.com/2025/02/how-...

So let's get this straight: The U.S. and Elon are now extorting Ukraine and threatening to turn off their Starlink Internet access unless they give their critical rare earth minerals to the United States? Staggering levels of corruption.

My new favorite drug is Republican members of Congress getting yelled at in their districts by constituents who hate Musk.

Read the real stories about what USAID cuts mean, not the Musk propaganda www.nytimes.com/2025/02/21/o...

Probably because the US elected #PresidentKrasnov in November.
