Science is great. Humanity is even greater. Together, the two of them make us invincible.
We will see that the mechanisms are similar in both. Our current thinking is incomplete and too crude. We have to learn to think in new ways.
There is an overlap. I worked in Rheumatology, I know what I talk about.
As a German, I can say that. We ourselves made the mistake of expelling scientists. What happened? We had no science. The scientists continued their research elsewhere.
As long as that good women and men won't stop, we will proceed.
Yes, it is hard. But Trump can not stop all of us. Start doing. Move. Build Networks. Be creative.
Because if it's not Trump, then it will be climate change that forces research institutions to relocate.
Ideas, concepts, models, all of this is invented by scientists, not by heads of state.
