So anyway, it’s been really nice hearing from folk recently who’ve been discovering PIB2 (feels like it flew under the radar a bit on release) so hopefully it’s finding its audience now. Watch it, it’s really good!

Only watched it first time the other night with the kids. It was great. Felt inspired by the recent Spider-Man animated joints in parts. Great visuals.
Spontaneously watched it in theater when it came out and it became one of my favorite movies of all time! Thank you and everyone else on the team for the amazing work you put in to bring this masterpiece to life
Such awesome work! I'm curious, I think all of these are traditional, right? I'm assuming you were working remote, do you get to keep the originals or do you have to send those in to be archived?
Hi Joscha,
Yes, all traditional (values added in photoshop where you see them). I have the originals, yes, studios aren’t interested in having them I don’t think. At least none have ever asked ;)
Thank you! I was thinking of an extra on the Iron Giant bluray where they go into a salt mine where they keep all the original art of the WB animated movies and shows, but of course all that work was done in-house.

I still love sketching traditionally and actually find it really difficult to draw digitally.

Love architecture like that!
