I'm damned if I know why 'Mortal Engines' film took such a panning. As an old sci/fi (fantasy)enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was certainly better than a lot of the celluloid bacteria that has disgraced our screens.
The books were such an inspiration for me growing up! It's a shame the movie opted for a more retro-futuristic style rather than the old-tech steampunk, but I think each had merits
I absolutely love all the art you created for the world of Mortal Engines, it wouldn't be the same without you! :)
As a longtime fan of the books, the artistic vision for the movie absolutely NAILED it. It was like you and the other artists reached into my mind and pulled out exactly what I envisioned while reading the books!
I actually read the prequal of the Mortal Engines call the Fever Crumb series. Though I never seen the Mortal Engines movie, this could peek my interest on the story. I wonder where I could read it someday...
