If 10 Downing Street were like Hogwarts, and those pictures could speak, what would they be saying to Starmer right about now...?

An oldie but a goodie. I like to repost this, from time to time.

Wow. It turns out the vast majority of Maga voters have more in common with the immigrants/black folks/gay folk/trans folk etc. than they do with the £billionaires who told them to hate all those groups. I haven't been this surprised since the water coming out of my shower this morning was wet

Donald Trump’s grandfather moved to the United States, to dodge the Prussian military draft. Donald Trump’s father dodged the Military draft, Donald Trump dodged the military draft and Musk left South Africa to avoid compulsory military service. Nothing wrong with any of that, just sayin

The problem is that the billionaires are in charge and if you can't contribute they want you dead. If you are old, they want you dead. They don't want you to own a home, they want you to rent from them, they don't want healthcare. But remember we outnumber them, by millions.

How about awarding MPs their salaries on a points system? We can give them a 50-page form to fill out to show us what they have accomplished, and they can be regularly assessed to see if they qualify for money like disabled people. That would be more efficient, right?

If you want things to change the billionaires must be removed from power. Tax them into oblivion, nationalise all the stolen Public Services, and ban them from politics. It's the only way.

EveryDoctor is just about to announce which political party has received the most donations from people and companies associated with the private healthcare sector.🚨 Please follow @everydoctor.org.uk and repost once the info is out!

Life feels like a succession of governments saying "hold my pint" as the last one is announced as the worst ever.

HMRC makes ‘sweetheart deals’ with large corporations. Accepts lower amounts? Is that fair? Parliament committees can't scrutinise the deals. HMRC and Companies hide behind cloak of confidentiality. Must empower people and parliament - make company tax returns publicly available.

Twenty some ago I went to work one morning and left work in an ambulance. My leg had been crushed and I was unable to walk for nearly two years. I had been living on my own, earning a wage, being an adult. I was 20 years old and incapacity benefits helped my keep a roof over my head. Shameful.

BREAKING: Labour Party MPs received four times as many donations from individuals or organisations linked to the private healthcare sector than all the other political parties combined. 🚨 We've been carrying out research into the financial links between MPs and the private healthcare sector...

Who will step up to fill the gaping hole in UK electoral politics?

The government is going to slash benefits for some of the most vulnerable people today - and no impact assessment is going to be published to explain why or what the reason is. I hope someone challenges this by judicial review. I'll chip in towards the costs. www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/03...

Missing @johnsweeneyroar.bsky.social on Blue Sky who is still active on Twitter but hasn’t posted here for a long time. It seems many Twitterers are still more active there, including @ottoenglish.bsky.social I hope this changes. Some good people are still there. I don’t post on Twitter.

You might think dodging tax is really difficult, but it is really easy, you setup a company in a Tax Haven and give it all your assets. Now you pay no tax. This option shouldn't exist and before the 1960's it didn't.

A lot of actual Socialists pointed out that Starmer, Reeves and their unholy cabal were NEVER going to give a damn about the Disabled! That they were a Thatcherite Tribute Band! It does not make any of us feel better being proven right! It does make us f'ing furious! 😡♿🥀 #disability

Dear US Trump supporters, You can hardly berate Mr. Putin for taking advantage of a Kremlin asset, who you were stupid enough to elect as President. But there, stupid is as stupid does.

Um... Peer who led government NHS review failed to declare shares in health firms Lord Darzi’s undeclared interests in four companies included $500,000 of shares in US-based healthcare venture. Starmer's 'changed' Labour party ARE going to privatise the NHS. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Thames Water hopes to agree deal with a bidder by end of June. Private equity is favourite. It won't end profiteering, sewage dumping. Private equity are masters of cash extraction, high debt, asset stripping and tax dodges. Govt can begin to end the crisis. Nationalise but it refuses.

Once again, for anyone who hasn't already worked it out. Starmer and his disgusting cronies are NOT working for the population of Britain. They are working for Corporate paymasters who want to carve Britain up into Corporate fiefdoms. Starmer and crew have betrayed Britain.

Spike Milligan knew the truth about American Presidents long before Trumpton.

If Tesla gets down to about $100 a share Elon Musk will be forced to sell all his shares to pay his loans. Then Elon Musk will have no money, no Tesla shares AND Tesla owners will be free from his poisonous influence. A win, win, win.

Under-22s with long-term illnesses or disabilities will no longer be able to claim health top-up on universal credit under UK govt plans. 66,000 18 to 21-year-olds will lose it. People can't easily see GP, dentist, get access to hospital but will lose benefit. This is reckless and brutal.

Sick and disabled people are unemployable, not because they choose to be, but because they’re unable to work… Indeed, employers don’t want to employ them… So what will government do to force employers to take their quota of disabled and sick applicants?

Lord Bamford owes £500,000,000 to HMRC he has retired from the House of Lords and fled. He expects his debt just like Michelle Mone's £232,000,000 debt to be written off. We must recover every penny from these thieves, and toss them in jail.

Private health investors fund Wes Streeting and other Labour ministers and private health investors lead the government’s NHS review. Very cosy. 1/2
