Despite what Trump alludes to about the inconvenience, even the impossibility of trials for every defendant, Trump has never waved away his right to a trial.

If we could reclaim all of the trial hours that Trump himself has used up, it would easily cover due process for thousands of defendants.

Reality: We don't have to provide everyone with what DJT got (full trials and multiple rounds of appeals), b/c not everyone demands that. Most cases (civil and criminal) settle, or narrow the issues. Most immigration cases need only a limited hearing.

But that basic hearing is essential.
