I did not see violence advocated here, but leaning in to an aggressive pushback on this Republican War against American Democracy, pushed by a foreign dictator.
We only have to metaphorically destroy them, and that's the way this was used.

On top of the illegality of threatening violence, most ppl are not progressive & not politically active. They won’t be motivated to join because someone threatens to “slit the throats” of their enemies or them if don’t agree with 100% of the platform they’re told to support. Plus, the history
of movements being infiltrated by govt agents posing as activists who tried to rally ppl to commit violence as a excuse to arrest or shut down orgs is extensive—I don’t trust people who advocate for self-sabotaging activities. Lastly, you can’t beat the state when it comes to committing violence
