Utah’s Sen. Mike Lee is pitching a sweeping reform of food stamps that would require states to take on a larger cost of the program. But if the country sinks into recession, among the Americans who would take the biggest hit are Lee’s constituents.

So utah is unaffordable in all ways now. The utilities are rising. The houses have been unaffordable for years now, they're going to cut food stamps now(?), and thanks to the mad wanna-be king there will be massive job loss. Jesusjumpedupchrist
The good news is Mike Lee doesn’t actually get laws passed. He’s just a troll who pushes fringe ideas that show how out of touch he is. But at least in his mind he is super smart and clever.
His religion and politics, both encourage young people to get married quickly and have a bunch of kids. But then neither are working to make it easier to raise a family. Most people on snap are already working and adding more paperwork and red tape just makes their lives more miserable.
If the GOP wants to keep cutting federal workers, programs, and benefits, or passing on the responsibility to run programs to states, we should be paying much less federal tax.
