It is still early days. Let's see what happens when (and if) food becomes scare, unemployment skyrockets, access to healthcare gets killed, stupid wars get started, plane accidents become common, preventable childhood diseases start to circulate, the dollar crashes, etc.

We are in a terrible and very frightening situation. The ironic "good" news is that they are racing to crash everything as quickly as possible instead of taking a controlled pot boiling approach that would see people gradually adjust expectations downwards.
