only the adblockers sometimes stop working and you're forced to turn it off. i also remember youtube talking about baking adds into videos so you can't skip them anymore.

I remember the only trouble I had with my adblocker is when YouTube tried hard to crack down on hard on adblockers a couple months ago (I think?) but it got fixed in like a day and ever since then I've had no problems. I only use YouTube and chrome so idk about other video platforms or browsers
