Incredibly, and even though I was right that the new scenes were all gonna be pointless filler... Wicked Part I was actually pretty good? I had a good time!

There's a lot about Wicked that doesn't work, but it's such a pacy show that you hardly have time to dwell on its problems as you're watching it. The movie adaption's trailer makes it look like they're gonna bloat the thing out with new dialogue, slowing it to a crawl. It's gonna be a train wreck.
