In the mid-80s I was working as a cook and I made an omelette for Ed Asner. I had no idea he was even there, but the waitress told me he ate the omelette.

Out of his long career, I think that I enjoyed his voiceover work as Roland Dagget on "Batman; The Animated Series" and Hudson on "Gargoyles" the best.
I was at a table next to his at The Palm restaurant in Dallas, which I heard closed a few years ago. He made it very memorable and it was the first time I ever had lobster. Very sweet man. β€οΈ
