Well, I'm about to enter the final week of my Kickstarter for my anime comic, and I'm really hoping people support it to help me get to 100 backers. 16 to go!!!
I've never had worse sales numbers 🤣 but I'm on medical leave and in my language sales are much lower than in english if you don't have a publisher, idk, I'm trying to think of new ways to marketing
I was pleasantly surprised to see a few sales of my somewhat expensive “box set” that combined my first two books into one long omnibus edition this month. Sales of my 99¢ markdown specials have dried up though. How about you?
They're not. I'm hoping having a second book out (next week) will help. If not, I have another in Apr, Jun, Aug and Oct this year. Building a backlist, if nothing else...
My first couple of weeks post release did better than I'd hoped for (thanks to my large family I'm sure) but things have slowed down to a trickle now. Expected though.
11 in January, 5 so far this month. It doesn't sound like much, but it's actually a decent bit of momentum for me. I typically go months at a time with nothing.
I was hoping to match my January sales, but I'm behind by 7. That being said, my KU page reads have DOUBLED which is just fantastic and I am thrilled. Plus, I got a lovely positive review today which means more to me than sales.
It's a good month, even if my targets fell short ✨
