Ask yourself, how could administrators, managers, at a gov't airport prevent the government from entering and flying out their unique and highly valuable, state-owned plane.
Bill Burns came to Kyiv a month earlier to warn Zelensky specifically (!) about the aiprort.
I've lived in Ukraine for 33 years, been to the front of this war dozens of times. Unlike you, I know what I'm talking about.
That the plane was state-owned. That it was in a government airfield. That it was not moved, despite specific (!) warnings from the US that that airfield would be a priority target for the russians.
