"Elected Democrats do not get that luxury: Being demoralized to the point of paralysis is bad for their party and for the country. But it’s great for Trump." Where are the Democrats? ICYMI A.B. Stoddard:

And dems need to listen to the progressives like AOC because right now AOC is tempted to switch from D to I because she has been in Congress long enough to know there's trainwrecks on both sides.
Yes, Dems have been much too passive, even with an effective response to the budget battle. (It helped that Reps were doing the circular firing squad thing, but Dems did wake up and respond.) I'll add that Dems need to be a party of aspiration as well as opposition; reacting to Trump isn't enough.
This is a perfect example as to why Progressives need to get better all-around support. We don't back down like most Democrats do. We don't have a problem with speaking truth to power & holding powerful people accountable...seems like a popular view to me. They'll never win without us.
Yes, wake the fuck up, be like Leader Jeffries, do some more face to face podcasts, talk to the people, let us know what the deuce you are fighting for or are you going to roll over and stretch out your neck also.
Thank you! I like @thebulwark.bsky.social but they really piss me off sometimes. Like their sorry past GOP arses didn’t get us into this mess in the first place. It’s about time they own up to it, IMO.
Nope. You were on the nose. I watch their videos all the time. I find myself gritting my teeth on a regular basis. I like them, but their criticisms often ring hollow to me given their complicity in the current political climate.
I know all of you secretly hate the Dems, but it’s YOUR old party that YOU supported for DECADES that got us here. So, quit yer bitchin.
Remember Newt Gingrich? GW Bush? Darth Cheney? Sarah Palin? The Tea Party? You ALL said “yes” to that. Give me a f’ing break. Thank you for your service. 🙄
the dems are in total disarray just like the repugs. of course, we don't want to admit that, do we? are we the blue-collar factory workers brand or the brand represented by the squad? btw, get rid of that smug bast*rd schumer and then we might get somewhere.
Y’know how when you have kids and all of a sudden it gets quiet? Usually planning something they shouldn’t and arguing about how much they can get away with. Was it John Lewis or Elijah Cummings that said “get in trouble, good trouble”. Thats why I’m quiet.
Not sure it's all great for Trump. Staying out of the fray has led to GOP infighting, which may be undermining Trump's influence before he even takes office. (i.e. the debt ceiling, "President Musk," etc.)

#NeverTrumpers spent all that money for zero return in 2024. Should you be giving Dems so much advice?
Here are SIXTEEN Ideas that could actually help us at this critical juncture: https://bsky.app/profile/gregolear.bsky.social/post/3lcx2lcwgn22w
Look at Minority Leader Jeffries who said "hell no" to Trump and Elon Musk.
Follow some Democrats on Blue Sky and see how we fight back.👍💪💙
