Not voting is a tacit endorsement of the winner. The only message it sends is "the 18% who bothered to show up are right."

I've fallen into it many times before when I didn't stand for different causes, believing peace didn't require it.
But that was a pursuit of the absence of tension, not justice and positive peace.
