Was he aggressive enough? Maybe not. But place blame on the criminals, their co-conspirators and enablers.
Why is Bondi having her confirmation hearing Jan 15th when Garland's wasn't until Feb 22nd? It was always the GOP plan to help run out the clock for Trump. The GOP are fascist totalitarians.
Nearly 2 yrs went by before the FBi knocked on Mar-a-Lago looking for the hundreds of documents they knew were missing on day 1.
SCOTUS had nothing to do w/ that. The DOJ was playing political optics while our Nations secrets were access by cocaine hookers & rich tech bros. Thats 100% on Garland.
And the recommendations of the Mueller report were never charged. No reason ever given. Charges recommended by a very cautious investigator who knew exactly what the law demanded.
And: Garland’s unconscionable delays—until 2024’s campaign had already begun & Felon was once again a “candidate”— only AIDED Felon by lending credence to his “political persecution” claims.
Garland’s refusal to communicate AT ALL to the public also gave jetfuel & oxygen to the “weaponized DoJ” lie.
Sure the outcome was worse in the US, but we can hang our hat on our DoJ’s blind faith in standard policies & procedures. That is, until January 20 when those get trashed
AMERICANS Have you flee the USA? It is unusually & strangely calm on blue Skye ? Not only I, but most of blue Skye followers are about to give up hope to warn all of you!👇👇👇👇
I'd say he was on Step 1 (do nothing) for 15 months.
Then he reluctantly went to step 2 (engage cautiously, and very very slowly) after the J6 Committee inadvertently exposed that he had done nothing.
He is def not MAGA, he is an honest man, and brought a lot of criminals to justice. Teflon Don was his biggest mistake, he didn’t want to look political, and we will all pay the price. Both him and Biden were to polite, it sucks.
I think there's a class of wealthy and/or powerful people in this world that is above the law, and they protect their own.
It's above partisan politics, so not MAGA. But Trump and Garland are both in this class.
Yes. The answer is yes.
Did Biden’s AG screw over democracy?
Unequivocally. Yes he did.
His PR network of bots & political hacks pumping out “an honorable man” apologist propaganda on his behalf doesn’t mitigate his 4yr willful mishandling & intransigent refusal to protect nation over corrupt DoJ.
Disagree strongly with this article. Had garland gone at him on 1/21 there would be no woulda, coulda, shoulda. He is guilty and would have been convicted and the only obstacle to that conviction would have been a corrupt judiciary.
"Maybe there’s no way [Garland] could have known what the right answer would be. But his answer was wrong. It resulted in no convictions, a new Supreme Court writ of presidential immunity, and Trump’s return to power."
Maybe there was no right answer to any of those options.
Yes. The biggest mistake Biden made was appointing Garland. The second biggest mistake Biden made was not replacing Garland when he proved he wasn't up to the job.
Trump should be in jail right now. Instead, he gto a "get out of jail free" card.
The PR / Propaganda working on Garland’s behalf has pushed this narrative until repetition made it the commonly accepted truth. But it’s a contrivance and a falsehood.

the path we are on with the incoming regime we might not even get another chance at true justice. lessons are learned to make future changes. we’ll see if we even have the opportunity to do so. that’s how destructive garland’s mistake were.

Garland chose option #2 & tried to play the 'friends across the aisle' game too. Both were horrible decisions in my opinion.
The entire plan was horible. You dont treat an insurrection like a mob investigation. And you dont worry about political optics
"I wanted my unicorns, I wanted them NOW NOW NOW and nobody gave me one!!!!!"

Thanks you POS
He didn't have the courage or the sense of urgency to do what needed to be done.
Now we're all paying for his fecklessness.

Trump wins anyway.
