It's been my job to share stories about people who participate in USAID projects for 14 yrs. Sadly, many Americans just don't care. At my NGO, our most liked stories are about our American staff or donors, not the people whose lives are on the line. Those get the least engagement.

These are people willing to remain unvaccinated for COVID and die from it ("with it" as they say). They don't care about even themselves, let alone others in the US, definitely not anyone outside the US. They are all over my high school and hometown pages. I don't think stories do anything for them.
