If ICE showed up in unmarked vehicles, had no warrant, and refused to show a badge or identification, then no one was required to follow their directions. Impossible to determine if they were legitimate. The judge did not obstruct if she was not certain they were law enforcement. No intent.

That's not the point.
The FBI ignored the rule of law (see my other comment on the precedent) and due process.

I guess this is the only possible reason why Patel deleted his tweet: he realized he was could be then accountable for an illegal act.
