The main reason to install solar panels is to reduce your own draw on the grid, not to become some alternative micro-power company.
Feed-in tariffs have been trivial for years, practically speaking.
Feed-in tariffs have distorted the market. and encouraged up-selling by sales reps.
Most people buy solar to stop their power bills constantly going up and up. Y ou at least get some respite from that.
Btw...
Renter
No solar
The SWIS proves your assertions wrong every day.
Why are you worried about the finals stage when your system hardly saves any carbon emissions? Don’t you care about your grandchildren?
plants have fixed closure dates. 2GW of solar installed on residential rooves alone.
Massive investment in huge batteries. Don’t mix up NEM with SWIS.
Today with most solar already up we get 3 cents during peak solar with coal in the network. Going forward there is less/no coal
& more need for solar.
So things are at their worst for solar credits.
See WA government transition plans.
It’s light years ahead of the East.
Let's push batteries, EV and hot water charging.. you know, the smart part.
