Shrek is already gone since 3(although I liked 4), Ice Age too. Toy Story had better sequels but I wish it had stopped already.

I don't know why they are doing COCO 2 to be honest.

We all thought Inside Out was perfect standalone and look how that turned out. Granted not all their sequels turn out good but maybe with the OG directors coming back, perhaps they can cook up something good and worthwhile.

I was thinking this would be more standalone but if they have an idea for a follow up that's good, I'm curious as well. For one thing, when it comes to Pixar, they mostly have a better track record with sequels than Disney. If this turns out better than Moana 2 or Zootopia 2, I'm all for it.

There is some logic given Coco was a pretty big hit in 2017, alongside between the other Pixar originals in the 2010's, this next to Inside Out 2 has more of a chance compared to Brave or Good Dinosaur.

Whatever happens, best to wait and see how they'll manage it.
