I've been out of work for a while, sending out a lot of resumes and applications and barely hearing anything. I was top 4 for a job, and it turns out they had three spots open, even though I said I'd take the shittiest shift (weekend overnights) I still didn't get it.

I'm getting fairly desperate.

I knew employment discrimination would be real and I came out -after- doing things like 'being at a company for several ears' and 'buying a house' and doing other Big Life Stuff.

Now, I've lost everything but the house, gotten disowned by the rich half of the family and so have no more access to the generational wealth I had once, and things have -just- started to get scary in a way that even being white and relatively affluent won't save you from. Insulate, sure. Some.

I am no longer even close to 'doing well'. I can't get a job that's near my skill level, but the 'progressive, nice-to-trans-folks' company my roomie got me an in for - and 3/5ths of their management team are people I know personally - rejected me despite glowing recs, 'cuz I'm... overqualified?

if a trans person is arrested we will likely not receive fair trial in 2025, and we will be sent to a prison for the wrong gender where we will be treated horrifically by guards and inmates alike.

If not direct financial contribution, buy us groceries or other essentials like toiletries. This is a bonus bc it means we don’t have to take the time and exert the effort to go shopping

-drive us around to do errands so we don’t have to use rideshares or transit, or even run our errands for us. Many of us are disabled and errands take a lot of energy out of us
-pay our rent/bills
-come over (COVID-safely) and do our dishes/clean our houses

Getting help with a new job would be huge for me since at my company, from what I've learned, my position makes the same whether it's a full time version or part time.

Also, I just REALLY NEED TO LEAVE considering how abusive they've gotten to me since last summer
