eventually the high road just leads you to a point where you've got no choice but to let the mob that's chasing you get you, or jump. it isn't sustainable. at some point you need to stand up to the bullies, it's the only way they will ever back off

I think folks have gotten a bit too comfortable with being non-confrontational IRL. That whole "bigger person/high road" thing shouldn't be some kind of excuse from having Any confrontation.
I think kicking him out/blocking/shunning means we ARE going high. If somebody walked into my house and said the kind of stuff he does about trans kids I would ask him to leave.
