I was dragged into the AC games in a chokehold by an old High School friend. Once i got to AC3 I figured "eh, you know what it's not too bad here? I think I'll stick around."
I haven't played basically any of them since they changed the core gameplay (around Origins) but I bought every single game in high school and would replay the entire series every time a new one came out
I also convinced my mom to buy me the like, $100+ collector's edition of AC 3 cause I really truly thought it was gonna be the last game in the series. Then AC4 came out and I felt embarrassed
I just learned my shift replacement is HEAVILY into AC. I never heard her whisper a single word of video games in 5 years, and then this bombshell hit me last night.
I think I will always love AC. AC1 was the first game I bought with my own money. I ran back to the store to get an HDMI cable so I could enjoy the crisp graphics in their full glory (they were good for its time!). I've 100% every game from 1 to Black Flag, the later entries are a bit bloated lol.
I wouldn't say i'm a "fan" of the series, but AC2 (ofc) is the best, I loved brotherhood, haven't played Rev., AC4 BF, the Multiplayer was fun, even so i felt like i was getting stomped half the time, still a good time, I have a few others, Syndicate, I still need Origins but so much time there
Absolutely, and my unpopular opinion is that since AC Origins they've genuinely been getting better, aside from the fact that they've veering a little too far to be called "Assassin's" Creed. That being said, the stealth/assassin gameplay for Shadows looks like a promising evolution to the OG stuff.
I have been playing AC since 2, but Revelations was the one that made me a fan that will play every game. The RPG games are the only AC's I have yet to beat.
Most definitely, and the Ezio trilogy are my faves! I do very much love Ezio, so much that I made my own Ezio cosplay by hand based on his outfit from Brotherhood.
I do wish I've had time to play Valhalla though... but I will admit it's the only one I haven't played that I own.
AC is my favourite game from when I was younger. I finished all the Ezio editions (some even multiple times). But after that I tried, but never finished them anymore and eventually lost interest.
I never played, but I looooved watching my more gaming talented bf play on the system I bought and paid for that he never once said “thank you” for. It’s awesome.
It’s the first game where I felt like the NPC’s were real.
I was super into Assassins Creed up until after black flag, then i fell off. I played origins a few months ago and it was so good i impulse purchased val halla, but havent played it
Started with Prince Of Persia, continued with Assassin's Creed.
One of my absolute favourite series. Brotherhood being my favourite game.
Ezio will forever be the best to me 🥰
I get jumpscared by my back tattoo almost every week. 18 years old and I thought getting the AC symbol with an eagle flying through it was iiiit. Ezio... one day I'll come back to you....
I recently acquired the vr version, the direct is a little iffy, everything else, including stealth kills and parkour is pretty good, not sure about the story though...
I don't know if I am an Assassin's Creed fan really or more just a fan of that open world, exploring and collecting kind of game fan. Unless I have the itch to play one of those games I never find myself wanted to play an AC game. Even then these days I would probably play aYakuza game over them.
Oh I loooove AC. I've played most of the mainlines games and I'm excited for Shadows! Black Flag is my favorite though. God that game is peak (Yakuza Pirate looks sick though)

(Jk, I really enjoy the series.)
That was.... almost 10 years ago now??
Maybe my love of America helped me love 3 and a Welsh protagonist helped me love 4 but I thought they were solid and fun 😊
But really, though, I miss the Assassin's Creed series so much.
I did sorta like Valhalla due to me liking vikings.
I am gonna try the new one because I also like the setting. But not sure I'll like it. But I like to try everything first at least
I much preferred the more intimate and curated open worlds of the older games.
I do wish I've had time to play Valhalla though... but I will admit it's the only one I haven't played that I own.
It’s the first game where I felt like the NPC’s were real.
Corvo and Emily are the goats
Idk what that says about me, though
One of my absolute favourite series. Brotherhood being my favourite game.
Ezio will forever be the best to me 🥰
I lost interest when they killed Desmond and dropped the present-day storyline.
but I love Asssassin's Creed 1 with a passion
