Oh yes, please do tell me again how the employer NIC increase is the fatal blow to small businesses that will finally make Atlas shrug while we all politely ignore the Brexit-shaped elephant stomping through the room, flattening livelihoods as it goes.

Sadly it will not be possible for a little business like mine to post to NI&EU from 13th Dec with new GPSR legislation. I’d need an agent in the EU. There’s very little info on how to proceed from here😢
Looks like I'll have to pause my sales to EU&NI, if that’s you please buy before the 13th Dec!

In one fell swoop I've lost my EU and NI customers for my quilts. A massive market no longer available to me.
Brexit. The gift that keeps on giving.
And yes, NI has the best of both worlds.
Do you recall Johnson, before the referendum, saying we would still be in the Single Market & nothing would change?
That was the big lie that many of us warned about.
Travelled Pembroke - Rosslare in Sept. Got duty free on board.
Drove to Belfast. Ferry to Birkenhead.
No passport checks on either journey.
Big brother media are watching 👀
NIC increases aren’t the problem.
I have friends who make carving tools. That's a total non-starter...
Brexit has brought nothing but harm. And until we admit that and drop the pint sized champagne-bottle shaped delusions, small businesses like Charlotte’s will keep paying the price for a national fever dream.
I don't love more tax, but I can see it is needed.
Not this tit though.
