I was made redundant two years ago so I changed direction, changed career and explored new territory. Good things can come out of a crappy situation.
Try to enjoy the extra time off then regroup for a fresh start in the new year. Hopefully on to better things!

After 25 years with the same outfit, I was made redundant in October.
I turned 60 last June and did wonder if that was it for me. However, turns out there is demand for my experience and I start a new, better-paid, job on Monday.
