I'm no manager, but if employers 'can't afford' the NI contributions so won't employ new staff, what do they do every time insurance, raw materials & transport costs go up...sack a staff member?

Morning all. Welfare bill getting messy. I think govt will have to make some changes to it, although it's obvious that changes to the system need to happen. No easy shortcuts.

I wonder what Trump's reaction to the widespread 'no kings' protests will be 🤔, if any. The weather was kind to him at his parade as it gave him an excuse for a poor turnout. Let's hope he can rein in his frustrations when dealing with Iran. Bullies don't like being challenged.
