the film directly from the manufacturer in China the landed price or the price at retail (if it ever becomes locally available) will likely be higher in the future due to tariffs, VAT or markups. However, my cost in bulk is $9.50 / 36 exp. I shot the film indoors (with big natural light) & outdoors

at both 200 & 400. I read suing my research that it’s best at 200-320. The above photos are a straight out of camera & the same photo slightly edited in LR. This was at ISO 200. The film both indoors & outside is “muted” / desaturated with a pronounced green tint in the shadows. At 400

there is considerable grain in the shadows when shot in lower light. At both 200 & 400 the skies & blues are off and the reds muted. I developed both rolls in C-41 & scanned unadjusted with an Epson V800. I’ll post more photos separately but the film looks identical to ORWO NC500 IMO. Overall it’s

not a replacement for any Kodak or Fujifilm color film sticks BUT it is unique with its own look. Almost looks like a slightly T balance cine film. Also it’s currently available in bulk rolls which appeals to me. Nice to have the option available.

It’s definitely not an every day kind of stock, but I like how it instantly transports what you shot 30 years into the past.
