My great uncle was a wise man and a 20 year professional soldier, eventually a Regimental Sergeant Major , Norway to North Africa.
When I took the queen’s shilling his number one piece of advice was look after your feet and your mates.

Every soldier gets 4-6 pairs. Then we have conscripts. How long a period are the supposed to deliver them? How many thousands of conscripts will serve in the next years?
Nothing but a military starting to stock up on supplies. Theyve also bought trucks, IFVs, starting to order ships etc.
