Years ago Wayne Hennessy, Welsh goalkeeper was sanctioned by Welsh football authority after he said he knew nothing about hitler, the holocaust etc when he gave a heil hitler salute at a party! Caught on camera, put in press. Incredulous. Seriously embarrassing for Welsh football.

I think they sort-of were, people may have thought along the lines of Nazi Germany didn't affect them directly, so it doesn't matter, it's just a blip in history.

Combine that with them already being a little bit prejudiced, for the sake of ease, let's say against smurfs.

NOW, they see other people being truly vile, and getting away with it; even though they're clearly taking things a step too far to anyone with sense, the messaging happens to also hate smurfs, so the now "mildy horrible" people just hop on board and join in with the truly abhorrent groups.

Weird when people think of martial arts, they think discipline, dedication, respect etc… but when people think MMA they think thugs cage fighting lol. It definitely used to be more the former but in recent years quickly becoming the latter 🫠

I don’t have access to MMA but I see it (or perhaps perceive it) to be more like wrestling where so much of it is driven by bravado and propaganda. I see it nothing like martial arts. But like any sports there’s going to be the odd twat who takes things too far 😩

When BLM started and fighters where making comments about it Dana White told them to stop because people come to sports for a break from politics. Now he walks out Trump at events like a parade and said he’s can’t punish people for promoting nazi’s because of freedom of speech
