IMO I feel like this makes Jimmy a more valuable asset this season. He’s a good player normally but with a chip on his shoulder he turns into something special.

Totally agree. You can go get the problem child with something to prove and get a few months of outstanding, hyper-motivated performance.

Then as he ages further and the honeymoon fades you'll be in the same place the Heat are now.

But that's a good trade-off if you're one piece away right now!

Except isn’t he demanding a 3 year contract from whoever trades for him? Plus his cost is $52M +. I wouldn’t lock that type of salary in for him. One year deal, yes, but not multiple years.
