I don't believe it's an A for the Lakers given their roster. The Mavs have a better roster. Including some players that can actually stay in front of the opponent on defense. The defensive incompetence of Doug Moe era Nuggets are under threat.

I’m a Mavs fan of three decades and this was officially my last straw. I tolerated the politics of the new ownership group in exchange to have joy watching Luka in a Mavs uniform. That has been taken away from me.

If I was in your position I don’t even know what I would do. But I would definitely unsub from team news and become an ultra casual NBA fan (my partner didn’t even know who Luka was even from a pic lol). Maybe tune back in if they somehow build a contender in the far far future.

Grew up in Dallas. Went to first Mavs game and parents had season tickets so they were in my blood. Even after moving to SATX years ago, I held onto my Mavs fandom. It’s been tough since the Spurs got Wemby. Now that Luka’s gone I can just move full on to the Spurs.
