Pistons have to be happy with the split. But Cunningham disappearing in crunch time both games is concerning if you’re on the Det side. Cost them in gm 1, almost in gm 2. The offense running through, & Cade deferring to Schroeder to handle the ball & make plays and save them 2 day is a problem.
...They were double-teaming him the entire 4Q and holding him around the torso off-ball to keep him from getting the ball back. It's not some crazy fade on his part.
Come on. Can u imagine Larry, MJ, Kobe deferring to Ainge, BJ Armstrong, or Nick Van Exel late & not demand ball & shots in those moments? I can’t. Valid point by you- but Cade deferring stood out to me. leader, best player. has to fight through all that and make the plays. Score or set up a shot.
It didn’t matter if it was OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges or Josh Hart, the Knicks had no answer for Cade Cunningham, who looked like the best player on the floor.

I first started watching The Bad Boys as a kid. So I have a soft spot for Detroit.
It’s good to see them get a win (finally).
