I love my "glitchy" Switch. The Zelda games on it are breath taking. When I felt sad-devastated about him winning another election, I went into Breath of the Wild and climbed a mountain to just sit there, for a day and a night in the game-it helped .

If it encourages certain games to be made, I'm all for it. As is, Microsoft has so much room for growth in regard to their diversity of games as well as the cadence of their releases. I mean... where is the new Banjo? Psychonauts 3? New Crash Bandicoot? Spyro? Platformers are great for handhelds!

The console market has always run at a loss or close to a loss. With how successful switch is I doubt they'd make it too expensive. Just bad business for them. And with it being years away it seems like it's taking the same slot as series S for the next gen.

Hardware is probably there. My uneducated guess is that they're waiting for some software developments on the Windows side. If they can get Windows on ARM to a place where it can run first party AAA games, it'll be the best "deck" for battery life.
