Weirdest thing about critiques of congestion pricing is that we pay tolls to access roads all the time.

I mean, I do already but that’s mostly because I don’t like having to pay for roads at the point of service
tolls, especially if they use congestion pricing. Tolling reduces traffic and pollution, encourages more efficient modes of transit, creates revenue to invest in infrastructure and, in NYC, supports public transit. For example:
