If you're wondering what this thing does, I recorded me using this earlier this year. You might notice my mouse in the middle of the screen not moving. This entire video is just me using the 3D mouse in my left hand and nothing else.
Imagine trying to do this with keyboard and mouse navigation π

And it honestly just makes modeling more fun in general. I definitely have zoomed around my scenes makes spaceship noises. pew pew!
1. Do you use it with one or two hands?
2. Can you used it while a regular mouse & keyboard are plugged in?
3. How is it for the more gnarly stuff? Sensitive selection, shift-alt-drag ops, and the like?
2. Yes. I use my trackball in my right hand and the 3d mouse in my left. Though I don't use my keyboard to model. Just the two mice.
3. Not sure I follow. It's primarily for navigation and hotkeys/macros. Effectively replaces the keyboard.
Is it bias to a specific hand?
Remapping sounds reassuring π

That gets me thinkin'! π§
I also remember seeing one in Assassin's Creed Black Flag in the office building. They keep popping up in sci-fi media haha
