not just that, but the movie was in development for most of the show's lifetime and took 9 years to actually get made and released, while meanwhile the show a) pulled the "Barry mucks up the timeline" several times b) even was part of a COIE adaptation that stretched the budget it had HARD

Im just saying not enough people watched The Flash week to week to bank 800m summer blockbuster. While I enjoyed the show for 7 seasons, not enough people watched it to say that it translates to box office success.

Oh sure, I’m agreeing with you, and so is the guy who directed the film.

But I’d also be willing to bet that a TV-appropriate level of women under and over 25 cared about the Arrowverse Flash, which makes one wonder what was so different about the DCEU Flash that made him think women didn’t buy in.
